Hi, I'm Duncan!

I'm originally from Israel, but moved to the Bay Area about 20 years ago and made it my new home.

Two beliefs shape how I work. The first is that communication is the job, and the second is that building products is a team effort.

I came to product design from graphic design, and taught Adobe Illustrator at a community college along the way. Rather than take the usual route in, I spent a year in one-on-one sessions with a Director of UX who I personally hired to mentor me through the craft. It was a slower start and a much better foundation.

In my spare time, I love playing guitar, talking about music, and cooking some great dishes. Fittingly for my name, I do love donuts and can possibly get hypnotized if you flash one in front of my eyes, especially the chocolate ones. Ooh, the chocolate ones! 🍩
